That’s a bit of a stretch.

I’ve actually seen the opposite correlation —the CEOs that hire for their weaknesses, and focus on their strengths do very well.

We all have gaps and I’ve witnessed some absolutely awesome CEOs benefit from a CoS even with only 15 – 20 employees.
